Measurement Techniques and Challenges of Wireless LC Resonant Sensors: A Review
نویسندگان
چکیده
Wireless operation of the LC resonant sensor is based on magnetic coupling between two inductive coils, where inductor acts as a secondary coil for coupling. An external reader used primary to interrogate detect sensor’s response. The wireless applied in many applications cable connections powering sensors and acquiring data are inconvenient. This review focuses fundamental operating principles sensors, their measurement techniques, challenges accurately measuring potential solutions. main challenge measure frequency quality factor which solely dependent intrinsic parameters sensors. For practical applications, it crucial regardless distances. To time domain measurements commonly used. coefficient, greatly influenced by geometrical dimensions alignment inductively coupled has an adverse effect distance independent readout phase dip domain. Furthermore, presence parasitic capacitance that appears parallel also both domain, resulting inaccurate frequency. A compensation technique can be employed reduce or even eliminate coil, significantly improves accuracy sensor.
